In order to apply what I have learnt and help set myself up
for the future better I have made a portfolio. In making this portfolio I wanted to show of
the best of my work as well as some of the more sketchy stuff in order to show
versatility and range as well as displaying my process, I also included the
recommended 10 piece amount, hear is what I choose:
I decided to choose this one first as it is probably one of my all time favorite piece and best somes up the the current style of my work and introduces the viewer directly into it, though for the future a better picture or scan in will need to be taken as you can see the texture in the paper in this piece which distracts from it.
I decided to follow with this as is it is my second favorite piece of artwork and yet again helps introduce the viewer the work as well as showcasing some of my favorite pieces, though again this will need a better photo as a lot of the black tones in this piece, especially on the centipede just weren't photographed correctly

I choose this piece to go here to try and transition the portfolio in to my more monochrome work as well as changing the style of the portfolio into my other work.
I wanted to include this as it helps show some of the diversity in my work as well as showing of a story board as well as some of my monochrome work, though if more monochrome work is added in future it will need to be colour corrected so that the grey levels match.
This piece was included to show the depth of my range as well as some of my work with a book cover work, though it will need to be re-photographed as this has been really hard to get a good scan off with all the colours and textures intact.
for the last three pieces I wanted to include my series of botanical artworks, though admittedly they won't be a permanent feature as I they do not fit in well with the other styles and I want to have another better go at botanical work in the future to improve on this.
The second piece in the series.
the third piece in the series.
For the presentation of the portfolio will then be put together using a slid to place the prints in then displayed in a paper and string type style with a wax seal for a personal touch. Overall the portfolio of present is okay but its going to need more work added to it and mixed around to improve it especially as more and better works are created there is also a lot of work which needs to be re-scanned in to a higher and better standard as well as having more of a 'wow' ending in order to help leave a good impression on the viewer but that will come when I have better work so I can start and end well with out having to much disruption to the flow of the portfolio.

I mainly choose this one because it is another favorite but also because it flows well from the previous painting as it is part of the same series.
I choose this to go her to show of some looser work which I still love and fits into this part of the portfolio though it might need work on its placement in the future.
